Entertainment Book at CVS this week

This wk CVS is offering a $10 gift card (participating GCs) when you buy an Entertainment Book.  For those of you who are not familiar with The Entertainment Book - this is a thick book containing nothing but coupons and are available for most major cities!  These coupons are good for entertainment, restaurants, grocery discounts, travel, etc!  There are multiple 2 for 1 coupons for restaurants that make dinning out very affordable.  This book will EASILY pay for itself and then some!  The books are $35 at CVS and run an average of $35 (depending on the city) plus $4.99 shipping on the EntertainmentBook.com website.  This would make a great Christmas gift.  You could even add the GC with the book or give it as another gift to someone else!  A great way to discover your town on a budget!

.64 cent Jelly!!!

If you live in the DFW area you are in luck!  Minyards has their 32 oz Smuckers Jelly on sale for .99 this wk! In addition to this rock bottom price there was a .35/1 coupon in this Sunday's (Nov. 6th) Red Plum insert!  .64 cents for a 32 oz jar of jelly!!!  Can't beat that price!  If your local store is out - ask for a rain check at their guest services.  I bought 4 but budgeted to stock up this wk and buy 10 - I had to get a rain check to purchase the additional jars.  Their rain checks expire in 2 wks so make sure and use it soon!

Free turkey or ham for TXU customers!!!

After being gone all wknd I came home to some pretty good mail...This being one of the most exciting envelopes I got and I almost through it away!  TXU is mailing customers a coupon for a free Jennie-O turkey up to 16 lbs or a free Kroger brand ham up to 9 lbs both redeemable at Kroger stores.  The coupon is in a holiday card from TXU and should be contained in an off white envelope.  If your family has already purchased a turkey, you can donate your coupon to a local food bank for those in need!  Everyone wins!  What a great way to appreciate your customers and community!!!  

Sorry I haven't posted much of anything this week.  I went to my cousin's wedding and was out of town most of the week.  Congrats to Donnie and Michelle!  I will be posting more deals and posts throughout this wknd and upcoming wk.  Stay tuned...
